I'm a professional calligrapher and owner of Parker & Patrice Calligraphy—a business born from love, loss, and the desire to honor life’s meaningful moments. Named after my late son, Julian Parker, Parker & Patrice is my tribute to beauty, legacy, and intention. Every name I letter and every piece I personalize is done with deep care, heart, and reverence.

 

Outside of the studio, I’m usually sipping strong coffee, walking my historic St. Louis neighborhood with my dog Macario (a loyal German shepherd mix), or getting lost in a good historical fiction audiobook. I’m a proud Motown girl at heart—give me some Marvin, Stevie, or Gladys and I’m dancing in the kitchen.

 

With a professional background in leadership and service, I understand that presentation matters—but so does presence. Whether I'm engraving at a luxury event or adding a heartfelt touch to a retreat, I bring grace, calm, and thoughtful detail to every live activation and experience I’m part of.

 

At the heart of it all, I believe in honoring the moment—one word, one guest, one flourish at a time.

I’m proudly rooted in Saint Louis, Missouri.  The rhythm of this city and its creative soul run deep in me.

I’m the heart behind Parker & Patrice Calligraphy.
My work brings beauty, intention, and elegance to weddings and events through handwritten detail.

I began calligraphy as an act of self-care.
After the heartbreaking loss of my son, Julian, I turned to creativity as healing. His middle name, Parker, lives on in my business.

I believe that the small touches speak the loudest.
A guest’s name, lovingly written, can feel like a warm welcome and a lasting memory.

Weddings are my happy place.
I don’t do invitations, but give me signage, envelope addressing, or day-of magic—and I’ll show up with bells on.

I’m a Gen X woman who still knows every word to “Double Dutch Bus” and can’t resist a good corny dad joke.

Fireworks light me up, and I’m always ready to dance (sometimes badly, but with full enthusiasm). Black and grey are my go-to colors—they keep things sleek and timeless.

I see myself working past 65—but on my own terms.
Maybe from a beachside café in Panama or a tiny apartment in Portugal with great food and good Wi-Fi.

I’m building a business, a brand, and a life that honors my story.
Parker & Patrice isn’t just a name—it’s a legacy of love and creativity.

I’m faith-filled, soul-led, and community-driven.
Whether through my church women’s group or creative workshops, I love helping others connect and grow.

I'm a creative for life. Before calligraphy, I was doodling, designing, and making beauty wherever I could.

It’s personalized luxury in real time—but with a soulful, St. Louis twist.

I am always evolving.
What inspired me at 25 isn’t what fuels me at 55. Growth is my love language.

I practice One Meal A Day (OMAD) with black coffee as my sidekick.
Strength training and wellness are part of my personal reset journey.

I’m a PRODUCT SOLUTIONS pARTNER  manager by day.
I work with health-related point solutions to bring value to people and organizations that serve others.

I love weddings, books on tape, dancing, the art museum, and—of course—Peanut M&Ms.  (Especially when I don’t have to share.)

I’m deeply inspired by Black women.
Their resilience, creativity, and legacy fuel my purpose and style.

I believe in pulling yourself up by the bra straps and getting on with it.  That’s a quote from my mama—and I live it.

I’m still becoming—always learning, problem solving, and growing into the woman God designed me to be.

Life’s like a big puzzle to me, and I’m here for every piece, every curve, every spark of joy along the way.
