Information
At Parker & Patrice Calligraphy, we believe in transparency and clarity. The following disclaimers outline important aspects of our services to ensure you have a clear understanding of what to expect.

Shipping & Delivery
Parker & Patrice Calligraphy is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused during shipping. Once a package leaves our hands and is in the care of a postal carrier or delivery service, we are no longer liable. We recommend choosing a shipping option with tracking and insurance if available.

Personalization & Spelling Errors
Clients are responsible for providing correct spelling and personalization details. Once final proof is approved, Parker & Patrice Calligraphy is not liable for errors in names, dates, or custom wording submitted by the client.

Proof Approval
It is the client's responsibility to review and approve all proofs or mock-ups before work begins. Work will not commence until approval is received. Once approved, any changes requested may result in additional fees or extended turnaround times.

Ink, Color, and Surface Variation
Final colors may differ slightly from what appears on screen due to monitor differences or material texture. We cannot guarantee perfect color matching. Results may also vary depending on the material surface provided for calligraphy or engraving.

Client-Provided Items
If a client supplies their own materials (such as bottles, mirrors, glasses, or other personal keepsakes), Parker & Patrice Calligraphy is not responsible for damage, cracking, smudging, or other imperfections that may result from the process. All services on client-provided items are performed at the client’s own risk.

Turnaround Time
Estimated turnaround times are provided at the time of booking, but are not guaranteed. Custom work, material availability, and high-demand seasons may impact final delivery dates.

Event Cancellation
In the event of client-initiated event cancellation, deposits are non-refundable. If Parker & Patrice Calligraphy must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstance, all payments will be refunded in full or rescheduled as agreed upon.

Tool & Material Sensitivity
The engraving tools used at live events may produce vibration or noise. Venue suitability and guest proximity must be taken into account. We are not liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities to inks, paints, or engraving tools.

Third-Party Links
This website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites.

No Guarantee
Booking services from Parker & Patrice Calligraphy does not guarantee availability, nor does viewing this website constitute a service agreement. Dates are only secured after a contract is signed and a deposit is received.

Handmade Artwork
All work is created by hand. Natural imperfections, ink variations, and inconsistencies are part of the artistry and are not considered flaws. Each piece is one of a kind.

Surface Compatibility
Not all surfaces are suitable for calligraphy or engraving. While we do our best to advise, we are not responsible for adverse results due to porous, coated, or delicate surfaces (e.g., acrylic, glass, or plastic). Clients assume risk when providing or requesting engraving on specialty items.

Client Material Liability
Clients who provide their own materials (bottles, frames, invitations, etc.) do so at their own risk. While we handle all items with care, Parker & Patrice Calligraphy is not responsible for damage, breakage, or unsatisfactory results on client-provided surfaces.

Turnaround Time (Estimates)
All turnaround times are estimates. Rush orders may be subject to additional fees and cannot always be guaranteed, especially during peak seasons or for intricate, custom designs.

Design Reproduction
We do not replicate copyrighted fonts, logos, or artwork without written permission. All original calligraphy and designs are the intellectual property of Parker & Patrice Calligraphy and may not be copied or reproduced without consent.

Use of Client Work
Parker & Patrice Calligraphy reserves the right to photograph and share completed work on our website and social media for portfolio and promotional use. If you prefer your project not be shared, please let us know in writing at the time of booking.

Live Calligraphy & Engraving
Live on-site services are subject to venue accommodations. We require a clean, well-lit workspace with access to a power outlet (for engraving). We are not responsible for conditions beyond our control, such as restricted access, weather, or venue staff limitations.

Proofing Responsibility
It is the client’s responsibility to review and approve all spelling, names, and details before final production. Once approved, Parker & Patrice Calligraphy is not liable for any errors.

Warranties and Guarantees
Due to the custom, handcrafted nature of our work, Parker & Patrice Calligraphy does not offer warranties or performance guarantees on any calligraphy or engraving services. While we take the utmost care and pride in our work, slight variations, imperfections, or inconsistencies are inherent in handmade artistry and should be expected.
We do guarantee that all work will be created to the specifications agreed upon in your order confirmation or contract. If there is an error that is determined to be our responsibility (such as a spelling error not present in the approved proof), we will make reasonable efforts to correct it at no additional cost.
Parker & Patrice Calligraphy is not responsible for:
- Wear and tear or damage caused after delivery or during handling by third parties.
- Unsatisfactory results on surfaces provided by the client or on materials not recommended for calligraphy or engraving.
- Discoloration, smudging, or ink bleeding due to environmental conditions or handling.
We encourage clients to communicate clearly and review all proofs and material recommendations carefully before final approval.

Disputes and Refunds
In the event of a dispute, Parker & Patrice Calligraphy will make every effort to resolve the matter in a fair and timely manner. By engaging our services, you agree that any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with our services will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be settled through mediation before pursuing any other legal action.
Any legal proceedings, if necessary, must be filed in the state of Missouri, and governed by Missouri state law. Parker & Patrice Calligraphy’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in dispute.
