Last Updated: July 8, 2025

Welcome to Parker & Patrice Calligraphy. By booking a service or engaging with our business, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided, including live event calligraphy and engraving, commissioned works, and on-site experiences.  Please review the following terms and conditions carefully before booking any calligraphy or engraving services with Parker & Patrice Calligraphy. Your booking signifies your agreement to these terms.

Booking and Payment Terms

To secure your event date or custom piece creation, a non-refundable retainer of 50% is required. The remaining balance is due in full 7 days prior to your event or the delivery date of your personalized piece. We currently accept payments via Venmo or Zelle for your convenience.

Service Limitations and Liability

Parker & Patrice Calligraphy specializes in live on-site calligraphy and engraving for events, personalized pieces created in advance, and day-of event lettering and guest engagement.

Please note that we do not offer invitation suites, digital files, or full signage rentals at this time.

If you are providing the items to be engraved or lettered (e.g., glassware, frames, bottles), you assume all responsibility for those items.

Parker Patrice Calligraphy is not liable for breakage, chipping, or product defects that may impact the engraving or lettering process.

Please provide at least one extra item for testing purposes or to account for potential mishaps.

For live events, clients must provide a clean, shaded, and stable table surface, along with adequate lighting and a power source, if needed.

If the event flow or venue logistics interfere with our ability to perform our services, Parker & Patrice Calligraphy is not responsible for incomplete services.

An assistant may accompany the artist to ensure smooth guest interaction and timing.

For pre-event commissions, a digital mockup or concept sketch may be shared with you for review. Minor adjustments are included in the price, but significant changes may incur an additional fee.

Final work is considered approved upon delivery unless you notify us in writing with specific concerns within 48 hours.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Please note that retainers are non-refundable under any circumstances.

If you need to cancel your booking within 7 days of the event, you will be responsible for paying the full amount agreed upon in the contract.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we allow one reschedule per booking,

based on our availability, provided that you give us at least 14 days' notice.

Intellectual Property Rights

All designs and lettering styles created by Parker & Patrice Calligraphy are considered original artwork and remain the intellectual property of the artist unless alternative agreements have been negotiated and documented in writing.

You may not reproduce, resell, or alter our designs without obtaining explicit written permission from us.

We retain the right to photograph all finished work and use it for marketing and promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, display on our website, social media channels, and printed materials.

If the finished piece is intended as a surprise gift or for a private event, please inform us at the time of booking so that we can respect your privacy.
